Overall much easier to handle than a cheese grater when it comes to spaetzle. You simply mix the batter and then spoon it into the storage container while the spaetzle sit over a pot of simmering water. Swipe the cup holder up and down on the blades and the little dumplings will fall straight into the water. In two minutes you have spaetzle. A few tips: Spray the holder and blades with cooking spray for easier cleaning. Don't spaetzle forward and then try to scoop up water - you'll have to repeat them. Be careful not to overfill the tank.
