The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

I'm left-handed, so the S10 doesn't work for me, but I can recommend the S10e instead because it's less expensive, has the same features, and is easier to operate with one hand. It was taken by a friend, who is delighted with its new home.
I too have an iPhone XR in my family; it is inferior in all respects and costs more; to hell with Apple and their avaricious business practices (the included charging is inferior to that of a low-cost Chinese model), restricted operating system, and artificial "eco-system." It infuriates me, for instance, that I was able to make full use of my favorite Galaxy Watch with a smartphone made by a different manufacturer, despite the fact that Apple expressly forbids this! Now in their brand-new AirPods, they have made it impossible to use the earbuds with an Android device.
Someone else has mentioned that iOS is user-friendly and straightforward. First, give OneUI a try for a week. Second, this is not simplicity; it is a simplistic limitation and an absence of essential functions. Using iOS with one hand was impossible for me, but I can do it with OneUI! Phones with push-button interfaces are even easier to use, which is currently the case.

Pros

Do not be on the fence about purchasing this top-tier smartphone from an A-brand company. Complete stuffing, it includes each and every item! - A design that grabs your attention and (unlike the S10e) doesn't feel cheap. - Excellent ergonomics, with a relatively modest cutout for the camera (in contrast to the S10 Plus). - The most advanced version of the OneUI shell (software is now the most important thing in a smartphone) - The fingerprint scanner embedded in the screen already functions in a brisk and consistent manner. Towards the middle of April, they implemented a solution using an ate! - Samsung Dex (you can even run Ubuntu without dancing with a tambourine, just by connecting via hdmi, the station is no longer needed!) - Samsung Dex - "Eco-system" (watch, headphones, virtual reality helmet, smart home) - Outstanding camera (do not let yourself be misled by the P30 Pro; instead, look up genuine comparisons on YouTube; after doing so, you will see that the camera on the S10 is more well-rounded). - Cool equipment (good headphones, fast charging, OTG adapter, case for the first time) - Sufficient independence (enough to last an entire day, but you don't require any more) - Quick and wireless charging speeds (the wire did not even get out of the box)

Cons

In the version of Exynos intended for the European market. If you want better quality communication and photography (you can put a Google camera), autonomy, and performance in games, then take the version on Snapdgagon 855 from Hong Kong. In 2022, they are sold at a similar price, and they do not have any disadvantages; there is a language for the year 2022, they eat normally, and contactless payment is functional!
