Review on 🔴 Sony DVP-FX810/R 8-Inch Portable DVD Player in Cherry Red: High-Quality Entertainment On-The-Go by Russell Wong

As mentioned in previous reviews the sound could be better - you really need those headphones or small external speakers. And the picture quality of DVDs on my laptop is better than on this unit. But the turntable is solidly built and has a battery life of over six hours. And it's perfect for connecting to big screens at school when I want to use the DVD with my students and it also shows the jpg photo CD. This purchase is worth it (it's black, not pink). ***** Unfortunately, after only six weeks, the discs began to freeze mid-scene and "Check Disc" is released. This is the case with every DVD. I never know when the player will work properly. Disappointing. UPDATE - 10/20/2008 - When I wrote the above, I was mainly using the player for home networks. Once I started using it on battery power - and allowed the battery to drain and recharge - all the "Check Disk" problems were gone! It's been running perfectly for three months.
