For under $10 I was expecting cheap plastic. Not so! It's white coated metal. It happens that all the brackets are hung on the wall. I use it on the wall though. You can easily move it from the closet to the laundry room, which is what I do. It will hold a lot of hangers. I buy big, thick, cheap plastic hangers and they fit over 30 pack. Excellent quality! It really is the perfect solution to collect all your hangers! You can easily store it in a laundry basket or in your washer or dryer if you want it to be portable and don't want to hang it up. The low price of this hanger organizer does not reflect the quality you will receive!
