Review on πŸ”‡ Cooler Master Silencio S600 ATX Mid-Tower: Enhanced Sound-Dampening, Reversible Front Panel, SD Card Reader, and 2x 120mm PWM Silencio FP Fans by Antonio Edan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Poor design and documentation, but silence after assembly

The documentation consists of a series of small, almost unreadable pictures with no words. (You can download it from coolermaster.com and see for yourself.) The customer support hotline is a recorded "call you back later" message. The internal layout requires that the power cables run from the bottom bay (holding PS and HDD) to the top bay (holding motherboard, graphics card, etc.). The standard power cords for the modular PS (I used Seasonic) were about 4 inches shorter to get to my destination, so I had to buy extension cords. The case has power and reset buttons *on the top* of the case. , not in front, which is a terrible choice. I expect this computer to randomly reset regularly when I reach for it to plug in USB cables. The build with this case took hours longer than my previous build with the Antec case (a few more days if you count waiting for the expansions to arrive). ). After it's done, it's really quiet. But I don't think I'll ever use a Cooler Master case again.
