This was the first time I bought running shoes from Best Buy. I usually like to try them on and walk or walk around the store for a bit before I buy them. I bought them and ran in them a few times before back problems forced me to stop running. After resting for a few weeks until my back felt good, I ran again, this time in my old running shoes. No problem. A few days later I walked back in and felt the pain in my back had returned. I do not know what it is. Some alignment problem or something. Lesson learned. Try before you buy.
