We bought this to drill new holes for our Ikea doors. We had to trim one of the cabinets to a custom height (15-12 inches). It worked surprisingly well. Just keep in mind that we've established that this isn't a perfect match. The hole is slightly wider than the original Ikea hole. However, you can adjust the Ikea hinges so that everything is in a straight line in any direction after you attach them to the door. (See picture) For this reason I award five stars. Although we already had it, you'll also need a 5mm or English equivalent to make the other two holes once you've marked them with this template. None of us are contractors and we've found this to be one of the easiest parts of the kitchen job. You can customize your Ikea cabinets if needed.
