I've tried over ten types of mirrors on my bikes - helmet mount, handlebars etc - and have been using helmet mirrors for eight or nine years. What annoys me is that after two or three years they are always loose and saggy with every bump, which is annoying and has to be replaced. I saw an advertisement for these little mirrors and decided to give it a try. Reviews were mixed, but the price made it a viable option. When I received the mirror I was struck by its tiny size, but as in the previous test I put it on my sunglasses (on the outside, slightly above the middle) and tried it. I really brush my eyelashes sometimes, but I got used to it very quickly and went for walks. After finding the right angle to turn my head to the left when I wanted to look back, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of vision it offered. I now use it as my only mirror and am quite comfortable with how it works. A few other reviews have expressed concerns about turning your head to the left to see, but if you ride a lot it shouldn't affect balance or keep your bike straight. I really like this mirror and only gave it four stars because it's a bit small. Otherwise, this is perhaps the best mirror I've found for riding.
