Review on KEYESTUDIO Multi Purpose Shield Arduino MEGA2560 by Josh Clifton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The hardware worked, the software example had to be adjusted a bit.

Working. I had to change the example from the page. The infrared remote download from the website didn't work for me. So I used this on the Arduino site and it worked. The infrared remote control is used to decode a remote control, such as a TV remote control. Use the serial monitor to view the codes. Pressing sw1 turns on the light show. Press sw2 for the analog section. All branches of ironwork. In my program I had to average the temperature values a bit and adjust the offset. But you have to do this with every analog measurement. Also dht11 needs 100ms after sequential reading and 1100ms latency after calling dht11. This is done to avoid the timeout error. The photo shows the shield installed on the Arduino Uno. I like that the white text on the tag indicates the digital or analog function. Note that the buzzer is loud. I reduced the number of for loops to make it hum for less time. Or just comment it outside of the code. On another project using this screen I was able to create a 0-30 minute timer using a variable resistor to set the timer.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
