I bought 4 (yes, 4) pairs of rain pants from a competitor and the pants either ripped when I put them on and off, or the waterproofing material started to peel off. After 1.25 years of wearing one of the Columbia Wear Boys Cyprus Waterproof Rain Pants, it has NOT ripped or peeled off! 5 stars deserved! UPDATE: January 2018 and I'm still wearing my first pair! Protects you from wind, rain and snow. They are warm all winter. The other day it was cold here from -10 to -20 and I put them on over jeans with no problem. Lots of storage pockets (2 side pockets and 1 leg pocket with Velcro). Still a great product! Update from 08.12. 2019: It rained all morning on the way to work and when I took off my rain pants, my jeans underneath were dry. What a great purchase!
