I have to wonder who gave this one less than 5 stars. I mean what is your business and what is your incentive? The thing works perfectly. if you follow the instructions. 18 - 22 hours. JUST LEAVE IT IN THE FREEZER FOR 18 TO 22 HOURS! If you follow the instructions, you will get perfectly crystal clear (use as a lens) ice cubes! I put them in for 18.5 hours and had 4 perfectly clear cubes with "concave - less "frozen" underside of the cubes; however, MOST of the entire cube was frozen and --- it was crystal clear! I'm a bourbon Lover and wanted hard clear (slow melting) cubes. This delivered - BIG TIME! Here are a few tips: 1. You shouldn't leave them in the freezer for too long because the science of why they work has a lot to do with If Let them all freeze then good luck getting the cubes out and put them back in the freezer (preparing your jig to make 4 more that night) "outside" in the freezer they will shrink over time; If However, if you put them in a freezer bag (sealed), they will not "thaw" or shrink.5. Stick to the recommended freezing time!If you finish this thing and then come back 2 weeks later, it will be thoroughly e be in solid block of ice and NOT get 4 clean cubes. Note! If you follow the instructions, you'll have great, clean, slow-melting ice cream. If not, well, it's up to you.
