The sun visor in the 2013 Prius V leaves a gap between the mirror and the end of the visor. Worse yet, when the visor is positioned on the side window, it does not extend back very far. The result is unblocked sun glare, which is sometimes very annoying. Other cars I have owned have a built-in visor extender that can be slid in and out, but not the Prius V.This visor extender is a good solution. It includes a black opaque shield that is held against the sun visor with 1" wide elastic straps. The extender is easily installed, and can be adjusted slightly upward and downward as needed. It adequately covers the gaps that are left by the built-in visor.My only complaint is that the visor extender and the straps are black, and detract somewhat from the interior appearance. I would have appreciated a gray color that would match the Prius interior.
