The PS3 is the latest generation of Sony consoles that aren't loaded with gimmicks to make you pay more. Modern Warfare 3 for PS3: Once you have bought the game you can unlock everything in the game just by playing. Ghosts for PS4, on the other hand, won't let you pick up even the best weapon after shooting someone holding it unless you've paid cash to unlock that weapon. You have to pay for additional classes, weapons, etc. and this has had a huge impact on the games, making them so expensive that only wealthy people can afford to play them. $65 for a new game and after you pay to unlock everything you get over $100 - for ONE GAME. Kudos to capitalism and a handful of Sony shareholders, but it's rubbish. I've been gaming since Coleco and Atari in the 1980's and after buying a PS4 and a few games on it I sold it and went back to the PS3. Soon you'll have to watch ads between games and close the pop-ups that appear in the middle of the game.
