After the last test - 4th of July BBQ - I can sleep in this article. This is NOT your everyday cotton apron. This kid is like a marathon runner - ready to train. It is handy, comfortable and effortlessly rinses away splashes of hot fat, tomato sauce or boiling water. The leather strap at the back makes it easy to adjust the fit so it's balanced on your shoulders. I hardly noticed the extra weight after a few minutes. Lots of pockets including a hidden inside pocket which I use for my phone but it can also hold a few ounces of truffles and other goodies. A chef probably won't cook morning eggs with it, but if you're looking for a heavy-duty apron for big dirty jobs, then this is the one for you!
