Canon's way of making money off this thing is small ink cartridges with low ink levels.

This is it. If you have a Canon 3-in-1 copier, fax, etc. you have to keep buying those overpriced little ink cartridges. Hey, that's how they make money! And how we keep spending and spending. But buying this combo pack through Revain is the most economical way I've found to get new cartridges, as opposed to buying repurposed cartridges from other manufacturers, which can be iffy.
