erh Flat iron

To be clear, I mix black and white. So my hair is very thick and wavy. It is very stable and can be difficult to control. I don't have a perm or relaxer, but my whole head is dyed red. Therefore, this review is based solely on my own experience. I bought this as a temporary replacement for my CHI Air iron. Either I lost it or it was definitely stolen from me - it was recommended to me. I usually do research before I buy, but my hair is starting to look terrible. DEFINITELY! The fact that it's made of titanium got me thinking. I'm sure there's a whole science behind it, but I think I'd be happier if it was ceramic. It heats up quickly, it's a good price, there's a red and green light indicator to tell you when it's reached the set temperature. The plates are smooth and wide open. And it also goes up to 450 degrees. It's not a bad straightener, but be warned, it's a step up from the CHI Air. It takes me a few swipes to actually straighten my hair. And it hardly exceeds 400! I really try not to heat my hair for the sake of my hair. Especially since it's painted, it's important to protect it from heat damage. The bottom line was. It worked. My hair was straight but the ends looked tousled. and there was no surprising "deflated" experience. In fact, he didn't even start going to bed until I tied my hair in a ponytail and let it "rest" for a few hours. In general. It's not bad for the price, but I'd probably take it back if I could and get a ceramic one instead. Ceramic has a bizarre effect on your hair - something like a positive/negative ionic charge. I won't go into details, but basically. Titanium isn't necessarily bad. But you can be safer by buying ceramics.

Pros
  • Titanium technology for super shiny hair
Cons
  • Useless features
