Very strong towel rail
I have replaced my 1980's chrome towel rail with this one and am happy with it. I find it very durable despite being a 1/2" size compared to the old 3/4" size. Some reviews cited the size difference as a downside: I found it just as durable, prettier, and easier to slip into "chubby" towels. Fits the exact same width as my old 24" so installation was easy. Went with brushed nickel and it's classy. It will easily last as long as the old one which was 35 years old. The roller didn't stick, which I forgot, but it's not spinning yet. It definitely can, so you can do it.
