I bought it mainly as a pc speaker which connects via 3.5mm and sometimes plays bluetooth from my phone, disappointed. The soundbar is suitable for playing music from your phone or as a soundbar for your TV. Main issues when using a 3.5mm plug and/or connecting to a power source other than a wall plug.1. A hissing sound is heard when connecting to a computer via the USB port. Plugging into a wall outlet solves this problem, but means it cannot be used with a laptop.2. When connected via 3.5mm, playback starts with a delay, movies sometimes skip words mid-sentence, when connected via Bluetooth this doesn't seem to happen, but music playback quality suffers.3. Bluetooth only works when 3.5mm is off, a simple switch would work fine. It looks like the Bluetooth feature was added as an afterthought, plus there's a significant delay when the speaker turns on. I suspect the sound is coming through a cheap BT module which could explain the whistling and hissing noises. Gave 3 stars for sound quality as you can't use the full potential of the speaker when using Bluetooth while tapping 3.5mm. 2 stars overall as the 2nd fault makes this purchase a bad one.
