I chose tires to replace the standard bridgestone turanza er 30 (after 6 years of operation) and approached the matter very thoroughly. As it turned out, after the transition from winter tires became noisier, I didn’t notice this before, and this year it became surprising that Gudir Ultragrip Htrim is more comfortable in motion than summer turanza. Initially I planned a turanza (Japanese production - I was not too lazy to call the representative office in Hong Kong or the same Goodyear in the summer version, since there are a lot of reviews and the rubber is really softer. I read a lot of tests in well-known magazines, and as it turned out, the same t001 turanza does not always win tests and comparison. wondered - why ? And began to choose from other brands - Nokia or Continental, but according to reviews, both are either significantly more expensive or do not quite correctly tolerate zero temperatures or wear out quickly. and rubber really retains some of its qualities in cold weather (if it snows unexpectedly) I decided to buy a potenza, but such rubber was not produced in the right dimension . and here I realized one thing that the same rubber has, if not different compositions , then different consumer qualities, and in different dimensions. I really wanted to buy a Michelin Pilot Sport or Primacy, but they were also not, oddly enough, in 195/60 at 15 diameters . and here doubt or certain nuances crept in. For example, the same turanza t001 turned out to be a loser in auto review tests in 17 dimensions, but why they didn’t take the potenza is not clear. And I also realized one thing that we, most drivers, will never feel (except on the track or by ear) the difference in different types of tires. And I chose, as I originally wanted, t001. The difference turned out to be very large. The high-frequency hum disappeared and now it became clear to me what the rubber was rolling, although the same flip flops remained when driving through bumps, but I got used to it, but the passage of a really bad road became more comfortable.
