Review on 💡 GE Lighting Reveal 53W A19 Light Bulb, 790 Lumens, Medium Base, 4-Pack by Tori Williams

I'm trying to keep up, but somehow I completely missed (or forgot) the inevitable demise of incandescent - before it was too late to stock up. I try to be "green" whenever possible, but the extreme toxicity of CFLs scares me to death, and I've never found LEDs to be suitable for work or even ambient lighting, in most cases. Not to mention the acquisition costs. So when I needed to replace three 75w incandescent lightbulbs in our guest bathroom I was very happy to find these GE Reveal halogen bulbs. I've been using GE Reveal incandescent bulbs for years and since switching to halogen I haven't noticed any difference in light quality or softness. This makes sense as halogen bulbs are essentially incandescent bulbs with the addition of (non-toxic) halogen gas. Halogen bulbs aren't as durable or as efficient as LEDs, but they also cost a lot less. Eventually I'll probably get an LED lightbulb for use somewhere, e.g. B. in a laundry room, examine and test. But at least I'm staying home with them for now.
