So I'm skeptical. I bought this for my Dobermix who is afraid of loud noises like fireworks and thunder. She panted, drooled, and paced when there was a thunderstorm or when the neighbors decided to throw their own fireworks. When I put this shirt on her, the fear she shows decreases. I can not explain. She's still unsure and will follow me anywhere, but she's much calmer. It took me a few tries to get it just right, but luckily there are wide velcro straps to adjust it to her wide chest and small waist. It really saves a life and makes me feel better that she can handle it. It is machine washable and will look brand new even with a contrasting color fabric. I would recommend it to anyone who has a dog with anxiety needs!
