When it arrived the post appeared to have had some other use as you can see in the photos. This isn't related to shipping damage as it was well packaged, but there aren't any screws or anything to tighten directly on the stand either, so there's no explanation for vibration marks all around. It still works so I'm keeping it and it's behind the screen so I don't get to see it every day but it's a bit disappointing that I got so many new things that looked so mocking.
