I would prefer to clean floors with reusable cloths like this, especially since disposable cloths have this unpleasant smell. These pads fit great and they perform the 'wet cleaning' function as it should. I have no problem washing them on the gentle cycle in a laundry bag to protect other clothes from snagging. BUT they really don't do their job very well. They seem to get very, very wet in a short time and then leave streaks all over the floor. Even if I reduce the water consumption via the app, streaks appear. Since I only wash with water, they don't seem to help much in picking up dirt or grease either. When I spray a SMALL amount of cleaner on the floor first (just a few drops of Bona in my 10x12 room). , the pads leave traces everywhere at the end - these show up as streaks of soap bubbles. So I end up mopping the floor twice: once with a spray of Bona, then again with a fresh pad and no Bona. Disposable pads don't have either of these issues, so I'd rather put up with the cost and smell. than playing around with these.
