Review on Bessport Camping Tent: Easy Setup Lightweight Backpacking Tent For 3-4 Seasons, Waterproof & Windproof - Ideal For 2-4 Persons Hiking, Mountaineering And Travel Outdoor Adventures by Eric Jackson

Held up well during a 3-week road trip

I slept in this tent nightly for three weeks as I took a road trip through the western US back in May. This was my first extended camping trip so I did not have a lot of experience setting up tents, keeping camp clean, etc.The instructions that come with the tent are not very good, but thankfully I figured out how to set it up by watching YouTube videos. Setting up the tent is not difficult once you get the hang of it, but it is a bit time consuming and tedious. The zippers on the rainfly have a tendency to get caught in the underlying fabric, but it's usually not hard to remove it. Also the stakes are made of somewhat flimsy metal and many of them were bent to an insane degree by the end of the trip. The tent itself is quite spacious and did a good job protecting me from the elements. There was only one night where it rained heavily, but the rainfly did its job and none of my stuff got wet. The tent stayed anchored in the ground well, and I never worried that a heavy wind would topple the entire thing over. For a beginner camper, this tent did a good job keeping me safe and comfortable during long nights out in the desert or deep in the mountains. I camped in numerous different environments spanning a half-dozen states and the tent was always reliable. If you're just getting into camping or want to own your first tent, this is a pretty good option.
