I ordered this product from United Vacuums. This is a proper HF-2 filter, but it came with a bag of Arm and Hammer baking soda on the back. I don't see anything wrong with that; Others have written that baking soda creates an unpleasant odor or cloud of dust. I didn't have that experience at all; actually I don't notice anything anymore. And I think if you really don't want the baking soda smell you can just remove the A&H bag from the back of the filter. It sticks very easily and is very easy to remove without damaging the HEPA filter.
