Before the advent of hair dryers and curling irons, these curlers were placed on wet hair and left there until the hair was dry. even at night. Well, we don't have to do this anymore, but you know what? They're still useful. And don't fall for the pretty colored ones, they aren't and don't work as well as those old "mesh-covered, low-tech bottle brushes". Note: If you have very long straight hair, you should look for a jumbo size, this is approximately 1-1/8 inch in diameter and is great for medium length layered hair.
