This is a pretty useful and easy to use MP3 player. You don't need computer support software to store or convert your MP3 files in a special Library folder that is the only way you can transfer the files to the player. You can open any folder on your computer and transfer the files directly to the correct folder on the device using your own computer file manager software. You can use just about any format for both audio or video files and the device will likely play it. The only downside that I see is that the device does not remember the location of the position in the file it's playing. if you turn it on and off it will be right back to the beginning of the file instead of half way through it or wherever you left off when you turned off the unit. So you need to know how many minutes you've played previously in the file to get back to the same spot where you were when you open the file to play it again. It's a minor bother but it would be nice to have that feature.
