After having traditional wood table tennis table's I was a bit concerned about the bounce from a metal table. After having played I can say I am quite pleased. Arrived promptly and was simple to set up. Pair this with a Stiga cover and you have complete protection from the elements.The only thing preventing a full five stars would be three things to consider:1) this is in two separate pieces. Each half is detached. On the one hand this makes it easier to deal with. Each part is obviously lighter than the whole. The disadvantage can be moving the whole thing around since it's two separate pieces. I would have preferred one complete piece but it's not a big deal and I can see how for some it would actually be an advantage.2) the anodized paint job on the aluminum table may not wear well. There was already a small scratch (doesn't impact playability) when I put it together. Not sure if it came like that or I somehow did it during unpacking.3) metal playing surface will not be as forgiving as wood. We've all seen players who in frustration slam their paddle on the table surface (usually kids). If you do that here you will likely permanently dent the table. I don't know how much force it would take to do so but a wood table will obviously take concussive force much better. But you can't store wood outdoors. This you can. So that's simply the trade-off.
