Review on Nad's Eyebrow Shaper Wax Kit for Delicate Areas Hair Removal - Includes Cotton Strips, Cleansing Wipes, 0.2 Ounce (Pack of 1) by Michelle Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My own experience and then some

I bought this first time from Walgreens. I decided to give it a try as my genuine Gigi wax warmer was ruined during the move when the wax spilled on the warmer and you couldn't take it off! The wax comes out of a small hole at the top of the "handle". The top part is shaped like a square cuticle pusher. When I first used the pen it was a little dirty like most first times but nothing bad happened. You put it on, then use the strips to take it off and voila! The way I've had the most success.1. Use the brow brush to comb the brows towards the forehead2. Used a clear mascara wand to keep them in place3. Used tweezers to slide through the closet to the part I didn't want to remove4. I made 2-3 turns to get the wax on the surface and then gently applied it in the arc I made (you can also use an eyebrow pencil to outline the shape)5. Place on a cloth and rub back and forth until satisfied6. Use tweezers to pry out what you missed (some will miss you whether it's the first time or not) All of this was probably obvious and probably included in the instructions. Just thought I'd give people an idea of how I've used it successfully. I prefer to have my own wax warmer but can't buy another at the moment. Don't be frustrated if you mess up the first time, things get easier and honestly I think this is the best self-service tool out there. Eyebrow depilation. I've never seen anything like it, although that doesn't mean they don't exist, but I got really amazing results the second time around and they've only gotten better over time. I rated and compared them in the store. If you have Amazon Prime it's a bit cheaper (sometimes prices here and in stores fluctuate). I just bought 2 from Amazon. For those wondering if they compare to salon results. Probably not at first, but once you learn how to do it yourself I have to say yes. There is a lot less clutter compared to other in-store alternatives. I really hope this review helps someone!
