I installed this on my 2008 Expedition. The part is longer than the original because the original had 2 hoses from the firewall to the T-piece. This is the best design as it is a single hose from the firewall to the tee. I watched several videos that explained how to disconnect the quick disconnects without tools so I didn't have to buy a special tool to disconnect them. The one against the firewall required two hands as I couldn't figure it out with one. The installation took a little over half an hour as I was struggling to remove the connection next to the firewall. I think I could do it in 15 minutes or less now that I know how to remove the quick connectors.
