Too much airflow required to work effectively

This lighter is good for lighting candles, but no more. It is located in the trigger for easy operation. It has a good long range. Disadvantages: The largest flame is small. There really isn't much of a difference between the largest and smallest flame settings. And above all: Too much open air flow is required. I have a fairly large kettle grill. If you put this lighter even halfway into the teapot, in the middle of the teapot, the flame will go out almost every time. It will burn if it's not in the kettle, but it's almost impossible to get it to burn if you're trying to start a grill on a windless day. window to find out how useless this grill lighter is.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lighter fades
