This is my new FAVORITE tuner. I've been looking for a long (years) for a reliable, well made desk timer with special features to replace the old ones that are showing their age. I found this model after several hours of searching on Revain. Even though I used the keywords "24-hour timer," irrelevant 99-minute timers kept popping up in the search results. Finally, this marathon timer came as an option. Since I needed a 24-hour timer with a loud alarm that rang for at least 60 seconds, this timer fit my criteria perfectly. I love the look and feel, and it runs on a single AA battery so I don't have to keep extra sized batteries handy. It can also work like a clock, showing how much time has passed since the timer rang. The slanted face and weight makes it easy to use at my desk. It also works as a simple alarm clock. The item was well packaged and came with a great instruction manual which really makes sense and is easy to understand. The manufacturer's packaging is good enough for a gift. This is the best choice for a 24 hour timer in terms of quality, functionality and value. I have also ordered three more marathon timers from a different model for other purposes.
