The CEO puts a sincere letter in each box saying this is a small company doing what they hope/feel is the best pitcher. Well guess what kind of team THAT IS! Any complaint you read in other reviews, like me, just won't be found here. The fill hole is huge, it marks the date the filter was changed on the jug (not the little sticky vinyl - sorry Brita) and wow, filters fast. I was put off by several others that were more expensive because while they did what this one does, they lasted five times longer. It's lightning fast. Water is water. Chill your tap water, and unless you're in a fountain or full of chlorine, you probably won't pass a blind taste test. BUT - Water tests are done, and even if like me you're in a place with the cleanest tap water in the US, there's still some bullshit we're better off without. So we get filters.
