Filter clogs easily
I used this on a spray pump in Florida and within a week of installing the filter was completely clogged with algae. If the filter is in bright sunlight, cover the clear tube with a black inner tube from a bicycle tire, a black thick sock or stocking, or even air conditioner coolant line insulation. Sunlight causes algae to grow and often become clogged. They sell a "sun visor" as an add-on, but it should have an opaque finish by default.
