The price of this item really depends on your setup. The slide is pretty good, pretty well done, and the instructions are excellent - very detailed, easy to read, and pretty clear with just enough attention, even if you don't make a living from it. I got it right the first time. However, replacing an existing damaged slide is a hassle if you can't get in from the back. This is a serious problem when it is the bottom drawer and you cannot remove the back of the bureau. If you can, it's not that bad. BUT the slide can't do all the work, it needs to be fixed properly, you don't have many options and it depends on the design of the furniture. Then choose the longest slide that works in your space.
