After years of loving woody JVC my FW01 is finally here. The sound is big, full, warm and juicy - just what I always wanted! However...I can't get in shape no matter what I do. There's a very sharp nozzle angle that doesn't seem to fit what I thought my normal ears would be. In fact, they fit better when rotated right to left! I've also tried wearing them, but again, on the right side, they fit better on the left. Also, the plug of the cable is huge and goes through the middle of the ear so the cable doesn't get wrapped around it! Ha ha. The fit is beyond imagination for how poorly designed they are. This isn't the first JVC development of this kind. So they kept building it! As I was writing this, I found that the only way to wear them was with the Comply earbuds, the force of the impact just keeps them in place! Without them, when they get to your ears and you're ready to press play - DON'T MOVE! I have Bose QC20 earbuds which are the best fit and also some JLabs which are also a great fit. Isn't it important? Again, amazing sound if that's what you're looking for, and top-notch build quality. I'll give them a ten for sound and workmanship, but only an one for ergonomics. So I have to divide the rating by 3. Very bad. I've attached photos of the angle of the nozzle which appears to be the opposite of the head and ears!
