This is my first juicer. I bought it to make celery juice. Made carrot juice today. I've only tried carrot juice once or twice and didn't like it, but this fresh carrot juice was very good. My husband even liked it, but he doesn't like carrots at all. The machine is easy to assemble, easy to use and comes with a very nice thank you card. Cleaning takes about 5 minutes for me. As this is my first user I can't compare but I would say juicing takes a little time but for the price I'm not expecting a high capacity juicer. I am very satisfied with the juicer and recommend it for home use. The only thing I didn't like was my carrot juice staining the plastic :( I was planning on leaving the juicer on the counter, but now I'll probably put it in the pantry and pull it out when I need juice I hope this keeps juice happily for years to come.
