I bought this at a local makeup shop (color 4) and used it to crochet a braid (after which I twisted 2 strands). The hair appeared to be short but to my great surprise it was about 13 inches long when I braided it. The packaging says nothing about the length, but they arrived great. I'm straight and I was so glad I found something like really tight curly hair. It matched my texture perfectly and was sooooo soft. There were some 2 strand curls on the store mannequin and when I felt how soft they were he bought them although I didn't go there for my hair. I saw another person say it was short and hard, but I found the complete opposite. Maybe she was sent the wrong product, or she and her stylist aren't used to working with naturally tightly curled hair. This behaves just like real natural hair, it frizzes when not stretched so looks short but gets longer when you braid it. Also, it comes in human hair colors instead of black, blonde and red like most other hair products .They come in different shades of brown and brown Everyone thinks it's your hair. I love this hair and I will be buying more crochet for my yle protection when my hair grows back this winter. I tried the same style with synthetic hair and it was very messy, coarse and came out very fluffy. I'm glad I spent the extra money because in my case I got what I paid for and I'm glad I didn't save.
