Review on APEC Water Systems RO Twist Filtration by Jessica Russell

The first two filters showed excessive pressure drop after 45 days due to the water flow being very, very slow. APEC replaced two filters and they failed after 45 days. The unit was installed on city water with a supply pressure of 60 psi. I have installed other APEC RO models in the area with no problems. I believe this design of the filter housing assembly is poor and will result in premature failure. Since this review was first written, I have had very productive discussions with APEC. We decided that the APEC Water Systems RO-QUICK90 model would be a better fit for this installation. APEC, at its discretion, offered to reimburse the cost of the original system.
