Not exactly what I expected, but a good option for items I can't use the feed scanner for. Unfortunately, it takes a technique to avoid skewed scans and I still haven't mastered that technique. Scanning too fast will not capture the image accurately, scanning too slowly will give you more time to accidentally distort the image. Images due to uneven scanning. This is fantastic for SMALL documents and pictures, not so much for documents and pages from books as advertised. Customer service is great so I give it to them but like I said the only use for me is really documents that for some reason won't load into my desktop scanner. And even I have to try to scan it multiple times due to user error and corrupted documents. Oh, and don't even try to scan a page that's still in a bound book, the distortion is worse, and if the binding is very tight you can lose words or distort them so much that it doesn't worth reading once. Also, I thought I bought an IRISCan wireless scanner and I think I accidentally clicked on the wrong one so despite the SMALL screen on the scanner I have to constantly take out the MicroSD card and put it in my computer to do the scan to check. in itself, you will not see the degree of distortion on it. It's a minor inconvenience, but annoying enough that I don't use it as often as I originally thought I would.
