Don't get carried away fooled by the organic seal. Beeswax made in the USA cannot be labeled as 'organic'. The "Organic" label is a sure sign that a product is from outside the United States and may contain other contaminants. I wouldn't recommend this for anything that requires "food safe" use and of course the smell is pretty bad. Instead, I would recommend using locally produced beeswax as advertised on the website (honeylakebeecompany.com). Nothing compares to the smell! Would only use this beeswax for crafts.
