This charger lasted a good four months, although it always fell out easily from both the wall and my Fire tablet and had to be touched while charging. Unfortunately, it's gotten buggered in the last week or so, offering intermittent loading, sometimes no loading at all. The wire connects without bends and friction at both ends, but today it completely stops working. I love the extra length this charger offers and it has performed decently so far. Is 4-5 months a typical lifespan for this type of item? My longer iPhone charger, which I also bought here, is still working well after about a year with no quality issues. In any case, it's time to buy another charger for this tablet. I want to get more service from this purchase. Update: As this item has a 24 month replacement guarantee, I contacted Revain about my charger failure after 4-5 months. I was immediately offered a free replacement which arrived with 1 day expedited shipping! The new cable not only works perfectly, but also has a design improvement: both the connector end and the small USB end are tight and secure, unlike their predecessors. Great progress. All in all I am very happy with my replacement and couldn't be a happier customer. Thank you Rewin!
