New brand Dixon/Ross not as good as old brand Martin/Ross
Watch what you get. If you can get your hands on a genuine Martin F Weber Bob Ross knife, go for it. but the newer bob ross knives from dixon-ticonderoga are thinner and no less durable than the martin weber brand. that's pretty much it, but i prefer the weber/ross brand to the new ones. Weber brand knives were too flimsy and also had a real "point" on the knife that could be used to cut the canvas. Weber brand knives had rounded tips to avoid piercing. Bob Ross was sold to Dixon by Martin Weber, and not to the same quality everywhere.
