This screwdriver has become my go-to screwdriver for connecting cables to IEC devices as they all use combination slotted and Phillips heads which are usually recessed to make them 'finger safe'. A standard #2 Phillips screwdriver will not fit in the screw head access hole and will not work well with the combo head. This screwdriver is ideal for screw heads and has a reduced shank diameter to fit holes in most devices. Spring. My only wish is that they make the exact same reduced shank screwdriver in Phillips #2 for the small devices where this one is too big. Some devices have smaller access holes but still require a Phillips #2 drive.
