Great little heater for my needs, consider the following: 1.) You can get a defective unit (short in the cable), defective thermal switch), send back. 2.) The lowest setting puts out around 500-600W of heat continuously, if it's too much the thermostat won't regulate and you'll get very hot. 3.) it's easy to send back the bad ones 4.) it's really small but reliable (don't buy it and wait a year to test it, I can't return it) * I would give it 4 runs, but I don't see it as appropriate, 3 stars probably sounds too high based on what I said, but I have 3 of these based on performance and compact size. Make sure you agree with #1 and #2 before you buy this device and you will be happy. If you are not satisfied with #1 and #2, buy something else and be happy.
