This is my second and again the cable has deteriorated. I don't have to buy a new baby monitor every 2-3 months! It wasn't dropped at all. The cable just fails and then renders the entire monitor unusable as no cables that are also micro USB are not strong enough to power it. Very discouraging and frustrating. Not to mention that you can't play lullabies if you don't want to listen to your baby. There's no way the sound will alert you that your baby is awake when the lullaby feature is on and it's so loud you can't even hear the baby through the music. Definitely looking for something reliable - it's not.
