Great solid antenna. My RF came with an internal FM antenna that couldn't pick up AM stations and poor FM at all. This antenna is very easy to install in the wall of a mobile home. Four holes need to be cut - one in the center for the wire and three for the included rustproof nuts and bolts. Adding longer bolts (Ace Hardware or Home Depot) increased the thick insulated wall of the RV. There are many settings. The base of the antenna rotates 360 degrees and can then be locked into place. The antenna itself rotates 180 degrees side-to-side with a screwdriver adjustment on the protruding ball. There is a large hard spring that protects the base and antenna from trees. The antenna can be removed by loosening the adjustment screw on the antenna base. The reception is MUCH better than the standard ribbon antenna.
