I'm remodeling my sprinkler system so I bought this valve to shut off the main line to the sprinkler valve manifold. The valve does not close completely. When it is fully closed, water will still drip. As it is a sliding fitting I cannot pull it out and return it after it is cemented in place. Luckily there is a brass ball valve in front of it so I don't have to rely on that alone to shut off the water. I also bought some 3/4" valves from the same company. One of these leaks the same way. I'm going to replace it with a brass valve.
