Good base blocks in the hardware
I took two pairs of these blocks to replace the crappy casters I adjusted to lift the kayak. Better quality means less friction and easier lifting. The frames are stamped but strong and the pulley material is of good quality. While I can't speak for marine use, they certainly do the same job in this app as something like Harken Micros and for a lot less money.
