This dress is not easy! I was surprised at how thick it was when I received it, it had more layers than my wedding dress! The top and sleeves are made of three layers of fabric. The skirt has 4, an inner thin layer of cotton, a dense white layer, a layer of tulle, and then on the outermost side, a layer of lace. Although this is a very beautiful dress and is actually made out of quality materials, I found it to be a lot heavier than a regular light dress! It's almost uncomfortable to hold the baby while she carries it as the skirt is a little bulky and the rest of the dress is not. Although she looks cute in the dress, I wish I had more time to order another dress. It fits/fits/looks almost better on a toddler than it does on a kid. I bought a 3 month size and fit my 6 month old perfectly, maybe a little big in the sleeves.
